Ingredients
Cupcake Ingredients:
1 Stork Beat 'n Bake Cake
1 Stork Cream Icing
0 Pink food colouring
2 12 hole muffin trays (80ml capacity)
24 fancy cupcake papers
Decorations Ingredients
1 marshmallows packet
1 Piping bag and star nozzle
1 Smarties box
0 Pink Cake decor sprinkles
1 sharp scissors
Step by step method
- Preheat oven to 180°C and line two 12 hole muffin trays (80ml capacity) with fancy cupcake cases.
- Mix one batch Stork Beat 'n Bake cake mix, and fill each cupcake case half way with cake mixture.
- Bake for 20 - 30 minutes or until done.
- Leave in the pan for 5 minutes to cool and then place on a cake cooler to get cold.
- Mix some pink food colouring into the Stork Cream Icing until it's a pale shade of pink, and spread icing on top of each cupcake.
- Sprinkle each cupcake with pink sprinkles.
- Using the scissors, cut 3 to 4 pieces off the side of each marshmallow.
- Squeeze the end of each marshmallow together to form a petal.
- Place icing into a piping bag with a star nozzle, and pipe a large star in the centre of each cupcake.
- Place 5 - 7 marshmallow petals on each cupcake to make a flower.
- Pipe a small star in the centre of each, and place a pink, purple or yellow Smartie in the centre of each flower.
- Place the cupcakes on a platter or on a tiered cake plate.
