40g Stork Baking Margarine
500ml cake flour
15ml baking powder
1ml salt
125ml plain yoghurt
60ml waterÂ
1 egg, lightly beaten
40g finely grated apple
5ml cinnamon
Step by step method
- Preheat the oven to 240ºC and grease your baking tray.
- Sift all the dry ingredients together.
- Rub in Stork Bake quickly and lightly until mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs.
- Beat together the yoghurt, water and half the egg then stir in the grated apple.
- Pour the liquid mixture into the dry ingredients and mix to make a dough.
- Pat out the dough to 3cm thickness and cut into rounds using a glass or cookie cutter.
- Brush the top with remaining egg.
- Place on a greased baking tray and bake for 12 - 15 minutes.
