Ingredients
125g STORK Baking Margarine
3/4 cup castor sugar
3 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cup flour, well sifted
3 tsp baking powder
Pinch of salt
1/2 cup milk
For the icing:
250g STORK White
3-4 cups icing sugar
1-2 tsp vanilla essence
3 Tblsp milk
Green food colouring
Step by step method
- Beat together the Stork, icing sugar, vanilla and milk until smooth, light and creamy. If adding food colour, mix in toward the end till desired colour is achieved. Preheat the oven to 180C and add cupcake liners to a 12-cup muffin tray.
- In a bowl beat together STORK Baking Margarine and sugar till light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well in between. Add vanilla and mix till combined.
- Add flour, baking powder and salt and sift into a wet mixture. Beat until just incorporated without overbeating. Add milk and mix until combined.
- Spoon into cupcake liners and bake for 12-15 minutes or until a skewer inserted comes out clean.
- Once cooled, assemble cupcakes in a circle/ wreath on a cake board or stand. Spoon icing into a piping bag fitted with a star nozzle and pipe as desired. Decorate with sprinkles, candy canes
