1 cup basmati rice
3 cups water
4 green cardamom, peeled
30g Stork Baking Margarine
1 tbsp nibbed almonds
1 tbsp raisins
1 tbsp coconut
1 can condensed milk
1 tsp rose essence
Step by step method
- Combine rice with water and bring to a boil.
- Add cardamoms, lower heat and cook until the grains are tender and all the water has evaporated.
- Heat the Stork Bake and gently fry the almonds, raisins and coconut.
- Add fried ingredients with condensed milk to rice and mix in the essence.
- Serve as a dessert after Diwali dinner.
