2 cups sugar
2 cups coconut
2 cups oats
2 cups Rice Krispies
1½ cups flour
1 tsp salt
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
400g Stork Baking Margarine
2 tsp baking powder
1½ tsp bicarbonate of soda
Step by step method
- Cream Stork Bake, eggs and sugar together.
- Add all the dry ingredients except the Rice Krispies, which you add last.
- The dough is VERY soft so you must rest it in the fridge for at least ½ hour before using it.
- Roll into balls and space well apart as they spread.
- Flatten with the back of a floured teaspoon and decorate with a ¼ cherry.
- Bake at 180ºC till golden (15 - 20 mins).
- Cool and store in a airtight container; keeps well for about 2 weeks.
