Ingredients
1 ½ cups flour
1 tablespoon sugar
2 tablespoons baking powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
¼ cup sour cream
¼ cup Stork Yellow Baking Margarine, melted
1 egg
1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
1 tablespoon chives, finely chopped
Step by step method
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- 2. Line a muffin pan with muffin papers or lightly grease it.
- 3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.
- 4. In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, sour cream, melted Stork Yellow Baking Margarine, and egg until well combined.
- 5. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and gently mix until just combined.
- 6. Fold in the cheddar cheese. Divide the batter evenly into the prepared muffin pan and sprinkle with chopped chives.
- 7. Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- 8. Let the muffins cool for 5 minutes in the pan before transferring to a wire rack.
