Ingredients

1 ½ cups flour
1 tablespoon sugar
2 tablespoons baking powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
¼ cup sour cream
¼ cup Stork Yellow Baking Margarine, melted
1 egg
1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
1 tablespoon chives, finely chopped

Step by step method

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. 2. Line a muffin pan with muffin papers or lightly grease it.
  3. 3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.
  4. 4. In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, sour cream, melted Stork Yellow Baking Margarine, and egg until well combined.
  5. 5. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and gently mix until just combined.
  6. 6. Fold in the cheddar cheese. Divide the batter evenly into the prepared muffin pan and sprinkle with chopped chives.
  7. 7. Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
