Ingredients

Main Ingredient Group

1kg cheese, minced three times
5 egg yolks
200g Stork Baking Margarine
200g icing sugar
2tbsp gelatin
100g raisins
100g almonds
100g fruit cake mixture
1 Almonds and candied fruit for decoration

Step by step method

  1. Prepare nuts and dried fruit. Pour boiling water over the almonds and bring them to the boil. Strain almonds, pour cold water over and let stand for a few minutes. Skin and chop them.
  2. Mash egg yolks with sugar to obtain the fluffy mass. Mix with soft Stork Bake.
  3. Add cheese to the egg mass and mix thoroughly. Soak gelatin in 1/2 glass of cold and boiled water. Set it aside. Add 1/2 glass of hot water into the swollen gelatin and heat until it dissolves.
  4. Add a few spoon of the cheese mass into the dissolved gelatin and mix well. Combine the cheese mass, gelatin and nuts and dried fruit in the bowl.
  5. Cover the glass bowl with gauze. Put a little of nuts and dried fruit on it and then cover it with the cheese mass. Level the surface and put it in the fridge for several hours.
  6. Cover the set Paskha with the plate and turn it upside down. Remove the bowl and gauze. Decorate the Paskha with fruit or nuts and dried fruit.
