Vermicelli Fruit and Nuts

Ingredients

Main Ingredient Group

30g Stork Baking Margarine
2cups crushed vermicelli
2tbsp sliced almonds
2tbsp charoli (nuts)
2tbsp raisins
4cups milk
1can condensed milk
0.5tsp ground cardamom
0.25tsp nutmeg
1 a few red and green cherries, halved

Step by step method

  1. Heat Stork Bake over moderate heat in a deep pan.
  2. Add vermicelli, nuts and raisins.
  3. Stirfry until lightly browned.
  4. Add milk, bring to a boil then turn down heat to simmer for 15 - 20 minutes.
  5. Stir in rest of ingredients.
  6. Remove from heat.
  7. Serve as a dessert.
