Main Ingredients Group

250ml self raising flour
125ml castor sugar
3ml ground cardamom
3ml ground cinnamon
125g Stork Baking Margarine, softened
9 pistachio nuts, chopped
9 almonds, chopped

Step by step method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Grease a baking tray.
  3. In a large bowl mix the flour, sugar, cardamom and cinnamon.
  4. Add the Stork Bake and mix well until the dough holds together.
  5. Knead the dough for 10 minutes. Shape into balls and place on the prepared baking tray.
  6. Slightly flatten the balls in the middle with your thumb, sprinkle with the nuts and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
  7. Remove from the fridge and bake for 8 - 12 minutes until golden brown. Serve hot or cold.
