Ingredients

500ml cake flour
 20ml baking powder
 3ml salt
 25ml sugar
 1 egg, beaten
 375ml milk
 50ml Stork Baking Margarine, melted
 125ml chopped dates (or raisins)
Step by step method
- Sift the dry ingredients together.
- Beat the egg, milk and melted Stork Bake together.
- Add the egg and milk mixture and the chopped dates to the dry ingredients and mix just until well moistened.
- The mixture will still be lumpy. Do not over mix.
- Fill greased muffin trays two thirds full and bake at 200°C for 15 - 20 minutes or until an inserted skewer comes out clean.
