Ingredients

250ml self raising flour
125ml castor sugar
3ml ground cardamom
3ml ground cinnamon
125g Stork Baking Margarine, softened
9 pistachio nuts, chopped
9 almonds, chopped
Step by step method
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Grease a baking tray.
- In a large bowl mix the flour, sugar, cardamom and cinnamon.
- Add the Stork Bake and mix well until the dough holds together.
- Knead the dough for 10 minutes. Shape into balls and place on the prepared baking tray.
- Slightly flatten the balls in the middle with your thumb, sprinkle with the nuts and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
- Remove from the fridge and bake for 8 - 12 minutes until golden brown. Serve hot or cold.
