Ingredients
Lamb Curry
Step 1: Aromatics
A generous spoon of Stork Country Blend
1 onion, chopped
1 tbsp garlic
1 tbsp ginger
1 cinnamon quill
4 cardamom pods
1 star anise
Step 2: Spices
1⁄2 tsp turmeric
1⁄2 tsp ground cumin
1⁄2 tsp ground coriander
1⁄2 tbsp garam masala
1⁄2 tbsp chilli powder
Step 3: Main
500 g lamb meat, cut into cubes
1⁄2 cup tomato purée
1–2 L water
2 tsp fine salt
Mac & Cheese
Cheese Sauce Ingredients:
60 g Stork Country Blend
60 g flour
625 ml milk
150 g grated cheese
1⁄2 tsp onion powder
1⁄2 tsp garlic powder
To Assemble:
Additional Ingredients:
3 cups cooked macaroni
Extra grated cheese (optional, for topping)
A handful of breadcrumbs
Fresh or dried thyme leaves
Assembly Method:
1. Spoon the lamb curry into a baking dish.
2. Layer the cooked macaroni over the curry.
3. Pour over the cheese sauce.
4. Top with grated cheese, breadcrumbs, and thyme.
5. Bake at 180°C for 30–40 minutes until golden and bubbling.
Chef’s Hack:
Short on time? Use leftover curry, store-bought cheese sauce, and ready-grated cheese for a
quicker version.

Step by step method
Lamb Curry
- 1. Melt Stork Country Blend in a large pot. Sauté the onions, garlic, ginger, cinnamon, cardamom, and star anise until the onions are soft and golden.
- 2. Stir in the turmeric, cumin, coriander, garam masala, and chilli powder. Cook for 1–2 minutes on low heat.
- 3. Add the lamb, tomato purée, and 1 L of water. Season with salt.
- 4. Bring to a boil, cover, and simmer until the lamb is tender. Add extra water as needed.
Mac & Cheese
- 1. In a pot, melt Stork Country Blend, then stir in the flour. Cook for a few minutes.
- 2. Slowly whisk in the milk until smooth and lump-free.
- 3. Add the cheese and whisk until melted. Thin out with extra milk if needed.
To Assemble:
- Additional Ingredients: 3 cups cooked macaroni Extra grated cheese (optional, for topping) A handful of breadcrumbs Fresh or dried thyme leaves
