1kg self-raising flour
3ml baking powder
375ml brown sugar
75g chopped dried apple rings
250ml chopped nuts
125ml raisins/chopped cranberries
500g Stork Baking Margarine, melted
125ml coconut
500ml muesli
500ml natural yoghurt
2 tbsp vinegar

Step by step method

  1. Set the oven to 180ºC.
  2. Mix all the dry ingredients in a large bowl.
  3. Melt the Stork Bake then add the yoghurt and vinegar.
  4. Pour into the dry ingredients and mix very well.
  5. Spread evenly in a greased baking tray and bake until golden brown (35 - 40 minutes) and firm to the touch.
  6. Cool then slice into rectangular bars.
  7. Place on the oven racks (not on a solid base) and dry out at about 75ºC for about 4 hours until dry right through.
