1kg self-raising flour
3ml baking powder
375ml brown sugar
75g chopped dried apple rings
250ml chopped nuts
125ml raisins/chopped cranberries
500g Stork Baking Margarine, melted
125ml coconut
500ml muesli
500ml natural yoghurt
2 tbsp vinegar
Step by step method
- Set the oven to 180ºC.
- Mix all the dry ingredients in a large bowl.
- Melt the Stork Bake then add the yoghurt and vinegar.
- Pour into the dry ingredients and mix very well.
- Spread evenly in a greased baking tray and bake until golden brown (35 - 40 minutes) and firm to the touch.
- Cool then slice into rectangular bars.
- Place on the oven racks (not on a solid base) and dry out at about 75ºC for about 4 hours until dry right through.
