Ingredients

Cake ingredients

225g Stork Baking Margarine
15g baking powder
500g castor sugar
750g flour
4tsp No Egg Powder
8tsp water
0cup water
200g cocoa powder
125ml hot water

Stork Cream Icing Ingredients

250g Stork Baking Margarine
500g icing sugar

Step by step method

  1. Mix cocoa with hot water, then set aside.
  2. Preheat oven to 180ºC. Cream Stork Bake and sugar till light and creamy.
  3. Mix the No Egg powder with the 8 tablespoons water and add to the creamed mix.
  4. Add the cocoa mix and mix well.
  5. Fold in the remaining dry ingredients and water in two batches.
  6. Pour into two greased baking trays and bake for about 30 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean.
  7. Ice with Stork cream icing.
  8. Beat the Stork Bake until soft and as white as possible.
  9. Gradually add the icing sugar till the required consistency.
  10. Beat 125ml cocoa into the softened Stork Bake with 400g icing sugar and 45ml milk.
