Ingredients

Dough Ingredients:

1 ¼ cups Warm water
1 packet Active yeast
1 TBSP Sugar
2 TBSP Stork Country Blend
4 cups flour
1 tsp salt

Topping Ingredients:

Tomato purée
Cheese, grated
Salami, sliced

Step by step method

  1. 1. In a bowl, combine the water, yeast and sugar and set aside for 5 minutes, or until foam forms.
  2. 2. Melt the Stork Country Blend and add the yeast mix.
  3. 3. Add the flour and salt and mix until a crumb like texture is formed.
  4. 4. Remove the dough from the bowl and knead for about 5 minutes, or until the dough is not sticky and bounces back when poked.
  5. 5. Leave to rise (double in size), then knead out the air and roll to desired thickness - we recommend 10mm.
  6. 6. Use a cookie cutter to cut out tree shapes.
  7. 7. Spread tomato purée on the tree shapes, then top with cheese and salami.
  8. 8. Bake for about 10 minutes at 180°C, or until the cheese is melted and the dough is fully cooked.
  9. 9. Enjoy!
