Ingredients
Crust Ingredients
250ml cake flour
1ml salt
30ml castor sugar
125ml Stork Baking Margarine, cold and cubed
15ml vinegar
Filling Ingrendients
250ml castor sugar
30ml cake flour
1ml Robertsons Cinnamon
4cups fresh berries
Step by step method
- Preheat oven to 200°C and spray a springform pan with non-stick cooking spray.
- Combine flour, salt and sugar in a bowl. Using your fingertips, rub the cubed Stork Bake into the dry ingredients until it resembles breadcrumbs.
- Mix in the vinegar to form a dough. Pat crust onto bottom of springform pan and up the sides then allow to rest in the fridge.
- For the filling combine sugar, flour and cinnamon. Add two cups of berries.
- Place evenly on top of crust.
- Bake for 1 hour.
- Remove from oven and put remaining two cups of berries on top, lightly pressing on the berries. Cool completely.
- Remove rim and serve from springform pan with cream or custard.
