Ingredients
Cocktail:
¼ cup Gin
1 can / 200ml Tonic or dry lemon
1 TBSP Simple syrup (optional, for sweetness)
Pinch of Blue Edible glitter
1 sprig Rosemary
Ice
Simple Syrup:
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
Step by step method
Simple Syrup:
- 1. Place the sugar and water into a saucepan over medium heat.
- 2. Bring to a boil and ensure all the sugar has dissolved.
- 3. Remove from the heat and allow to cool.
Cocktail:
- 1. Choose your glass (preferably a tumbler).
- 2. Optional: For a fancy touch, you can rim the glass with a little sugar or salt by rubbing the rim with a lime wedge and dipping it into sugar or salt.
- 3. Add ice cubes to the glass, then pour in the gin, tonic and simple syrup (if using).
- 4. Sprinkle a small pinch of edible glitter into the glass - if you'd like more of an impact, add more glitter.
- 5. Mix gently for a few seconds to disperse the glitter.
- 6. Add a sprig of rosemary to the glass.
- 7. To elevate your cocktail, fill glass with a little water and balance a sprig of rosemary in the glass, then place in the freezer to freeze.
- 8. Remove from the freezer and use instead of ice blocks.
- 9. Enjoy!
