Fruit, Honey and Oat Bars

Ingredients

Main Ingredient Group

250ml oats
250ml Rice Krispies
4 Weetbix, crushed
250ml coconut
60ml chopped dried apricots / raisins
60ml chopped pecan nuts
180ml brown sugar
125ml honey
125ml peanut butter
125g Stork Baking Margarine

Step by step method

  1. Grease a 19 x 29 cm lamington pan.
  2. Combine the oats, Rice Krispies, Weetbix, coconut, nuts and fruit in a bowl.
  3. Combine the sugar, honey, peanut butter and Stork Bake in a pot, melt and bring to the boil.
  4. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring.
  5. Stir the honey mix into the dry ingredients, and press into the pan.
  6. Refrigerate until set and cut into bars. Keeps for 1 week.
