Step by step method

1. 1. Slice 3 thick slices of cheese, then let the kids use a suitable safe knife to cut out 2 stars from each slice.
2. 2. Slice the cucumber lengthwise into thin strips.
3. 3. Then cut half moon shapes of cucumber and stick a skewer in the top of the cucumber.
4. 4. Following the diagram below, win each thin strip onto the skewer to resemble the shape of a tree, starting with a longer base and winding it up smaller as you go up the skewer.
5. 5. Push the cheese star into the top of the ‘tree’.
6. 6. Then trim the top of the skewer, until none is showing.
7. 7. Enjoy!
