Ingredients

250g Stork Baking Margarine
200g icing sugar
4 eggs
340g flour
1tbsp baking powder
2 lemons

Step by step method

  1. Clean lemons, wipe them dry and then peel them and squeeze out the juice.
  2. Separate egg yolks and egg whites. Mash soft Stork Bake thoroughly with icing sugar. Mix the flour with baking powder.
  3. Keep mashing and add egg yolks separately. Next, add the flour and baking powder. Mix everything together.
  4. Add zest, lemon juice and the rest of flour. Mix again.
  5. Finally, add stiff froth and gently stir with a tablespoon.
  6. Put the dough in an oblong fruit cake form measuring 10 x 30 cm and covered with the baking paper. Bake for about 50 minutes at 180°C.
