Ingredients

250g Stork Baking Margarine
125ml castor sugar
625ml cake flour
125ml cornflour
5ml baking powder
3 Seeds of 3 cardamom pods
1 Castor sugar for sprinkling on top
Step by step method
- Preheat the oven to 160°C.
- Grease a square cake tin.
- In a large bowl cream together the Stork Bake and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the remaining ingredients and mix to form a soft dough.
- Press into the prepared tin. Prick all over with a fork and mark in fingers with a knife.
- Bake for 40 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cut into squares while warm and sprinkle with castor sugar. Allow to cool.
