A World of Luxury

When it was time to unveil Stork Country Blend, we created something to showcase its indulgent buttery richness and effortless spreadability in a truly unique way. The Edible Spreadable Luxury Exhibit is a fusion of fine art and fine dining, crafted entirely from Stork Country Blend, the first of its kind, that’s as different as the product itself. It’s a testament to how our butterspread brings a world of luxury to your table, making every meal effortlessly indulgent.

But who would be responsible for carving such an audacious masterpiece? Who else but Cow Mash, an avant-garde artist with a radically unique eye and bold style, known for exploring different materials and textures in her work. Renowned for working EXCLUSIVELY in black, this piece would present a number of firsts for her as well. Challenging her skills not only with a different medium but also with creating a piece that wouldn’t live forever.

Drawing from her rich background, which always serves as inspiration for her work, she endeavoured to see just how far she could “spread” her artistic reach. Deep in the recesses of her dearest memories, she found The Communal Bowls—used for baking in traditional South African homes, just as her grandmother had done. To her, these bowls represent more than just kitchenware; they are vessels that bring people together, much like Stork fosters connection and community.

The resulting piece, aptly titled “Gopolang Gae” (Remember Home), was a moving labour of love. A fragile yet powerful sculpture, it symbolised the bowls that unite, sustain, and build communities through shared experiences and meals made with love. Its elevation represented past generations uplifting the next, culminating in the present where we are still brought together by these bowls—albeit in more attainable luxury.

Reflecting on the experience of creating the sculpture, Cow Mash said, “The material Stork Country Blend is so smooth and silky, it really felt like dancing with velvety luxury.”

Once completed, it was truly a tasteful masterpiece deserving of a prominent display. And so, we gave it one—but only for a day. Because this piece of art was not just made to be admired; it was made to be consumed. At an exclusive exhibit hosted by Cow Mash herself, a select number of guests were invited to consume the sculpture—both metaphorically and literally. In a carefully curated setting, sculpted bread pieces adorned the artwork, encouraging guests to do the most taboo thing one can do to art: destroy it.

The result? An unforgettable experience of luxury, community, and reinvention. Something new, something special—just like our Stork Country Blend. A world of luxury. So easy to spread.
